When Vacation time comes around, I have one very vivid memory that comes to mind. Getting ready for Spring Break in Florida every March. We would always fly to Florida to see my grandparents for 1 or 2 weeks. I picture us all upstairs getting ready for bed the night before we drive to Indy to catch our plane. My Mom has all the suitcases laying out in their bedroom and all the items are being put in that we laid out the week before. We each have our own carry on that we are packing with books and toys for the trip. During all the organized chaos of people walking back and forth and seeing what the other one is packing comes my favorite part......My dad will randomly yell "YEEEEAAAAAH VAAAACAAAAAATION" about 3 times that night, and once more in the morning when we are all getting up. We all roll our eyes and say 'Daaaad'.
Still to this day, that is what marks the official start of vacation for me.
Thanks dad.....:)

Oh my gosh, me too. Has bob taken over that job yet?
Ahhh, what a nice memory. I often wonder what things my kids will remember when they are older.
i still remember you girls had your blue bags and i had the brown bag. Sometimes i wonder i got as much stuff in there as i did when i was younger. Maybe my toys where smaller?
i also remember the airplane game. Maybe i'll let you and bob play when you get here since well pass two airports!
Janice does a good a job of running around yelling "yea vacation!" on her own. However, she does give me a small bag to try to pack all of my game stuff in. Luckily, the wii was small enough to fit :)
